TPC Benchmark B

This document is a formal full disclosure report as required by the Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC) for TPC Benchmark B. It details the performance and price/performance results of a DECsystem 5100 system running INFORMIX-OnLine 4.10 database software on the ULTRIX 4.2 operating system. The system achieved a sustained throughput of 28.2 tpsB with a total system cost of $66,130, resulting in a price/performance ratio of $2,345 per tpsB.
