AlphaStation 200 Series System Operating System Requirements

This document, dated March 13, 1995, informs customers of the AlphaStation 200 series that hardware updates have made Digital UNIX Version 3.2 (or higher) mandatory for these systems. Systems ordered with Digital UNIX were pre-installed with Version 3.2. Users currently running versions prior to 3.2 are notified that they must upgrade, as older versions are no longer supported. The document notes that Version 3.2 is binary compatible with Version 3.0B and advises customers to contact their local Digital office if this requirement causes significant migration issues.
