Compaq AlphaServer DS20 Firmware Requirements for Supporting 3GB of Memory or Greater

This document outlines a known issue with the Compaq AlphaServer DS20 where systems configured with 3GB of memory or greater fail during the power-on self-test if the installed SRM console version is older than V5.4-6. To resolve this, it is recommended to update the system to SRM console version V5.4-19 or greater. The necessary firmware updates are available via the manufacturer's FTP repository.
