LN16 and LN32 Incorrect Serial Numbers

A number of these units were labeled with an extra character (specifically the letter 'S') at the beginning of their serial numbers, which prevents proper decoding of configuration codes and warranty status. The solution provided is to ignore the leading 'S' if present, as the correct serial numbers for U.S.-manufactured units start with the manufacturing site code '6N'.
