Potential Security Problem Using 'wu-ftpd' with OSIS

Compaq has identified a security vulnerability in the wu-ftpd version 2.5.0 software, which is included with IASS V4.2 and OSIS V5.0-5.1 for Tru64 UNIX. This vulnerability, which can impact system integrity regarding file or privilege management, has been addressed in version 2.6.0. The patch also corrects issues with advanced access and logging features that occurred when Enhanced (C2) Security was enabled. Users are instructed to download and install the provided patch kit using setld.
