Video Streaking on VR160 & VR290 Monitors

This document is a Field Change Order (FCO) for VAXstation 2000 and VAXstation 3100 systems equipped with the VS40X-PA option. It identifies a problem where video streaking (a grayish shadowing effect) occurs on VR160 and VR290 color monitors when using the 54-17282-01 8-plane graphics option. The FCO provides instructions for field engineers to identify if a graphics module requires replacement based on its revision level or by inspecting specific capacitors on the board.
