Power Harness Cable Replacement

This document outlines a Field Change Order (FCO) for Prioris HX6 and ZX6 server models. It addresses a quality issue with power harness cables (P/N 70-31894-01) manufactured by Amphenol between late 1996 and early 1997. Due to distorted Molex contacts within the connectors, systems may experience intermittent connectivity, resulting in hot-pluggable disk drives dropping offline or disk arrays failing to mount during power-up. Technicians are instructed to identify affected cables by manufacturer and date code (4496 to 1397) and replace them using the provided installation procedure.
