This document contains a collection of papers and presentations from the 1962 meetings of the Digital Equipment Computer Users Society (DECUS). It is organized into sections covering utility programs, problem-oriented techniques, hardware and input-output techniques, and a panel discussion regarding the MACRO and DECAL programming languages. The proceedings provide technical insight into the usage and capabilities of PDP-1 and PDP-4 computers during that era, including topics such as tape editors, scope tracing, matrix processing, optical design, and oceanographic data display.
