Octal Debugging for PDP-12 Linctape

ODTAPE is a DECUS program (No. 12-11) designed as a utility for the PDP-12 to facilitate scanning and modifying data blocks on LINCtape. It provides an efficient alternative to traditional hardware switch-based debugging methods. Users can list blocks, search for specific words using bit-level masks, and modify contents of words or groups of words. The program is self-starting under the DIAL operating system and uses simple teletype keyboard commands (e.g., CTRL+O for Output, CTRL+M for Modify, CTRL+S for Search) to interact with the user.
