Failsafe

This document describes "Failsafe," a utility program for the PDP-12B system written in LAP6. The program provides a method for duplicating LINC tapes from unit 0 to unit 1. The duplication process involves transferring 36 octal blocks at a time, followed by a verification step where computed checksums for each block are compared between the two units. If a checksum error occurs, the program halts and displays the incorrect block number in the accumulator to allow for error correction.
