User Guide

Order Number: 12-41

The BLOOPD (Blood Pressure Display Program) is a software tool designed for visual monitoring of blood pressure. It can display blood pressure waveforms on an oscilloscope or provide digitized values for four parameters: systolic, diastolic, pulsatile, and mean pressure. Options for the program, such as waveform display, value display, and printing, are controlled via teletype. The program incorporates self-adapting threshold subroutines to accurately reject noise and dicrotic notches. It includes a calibration routine for transducer setup and operates on a PDP-12A or LINC-8 computer, utilizing the FLOS floating-point package.
