PIPL

Order Number: 8-440

This document is a program library write-up for PIPL, a modified version of the PS/8 Peripheral Interchange Program (PIP). The tool was updated to support labeling paper tapes with readable characters. Two primary options were added: /M (mark) and /W (write). The /M option punches the system date onto the tape, while the /W option punches the contents of a specified input file onto the tape in a legible format. These modifications allow for easier identification and marking of paper tapes used within the PS/8 environment.
