Dose-Response Routine

This document describes the DECUS Program Library entry FOCAL8-93, a dose-response routine written in FOCAL for 8K systems. The program helps simplify comparative statistics by transforming an S-shaped log dose-response curve into a straight line using probit conversion. It calculates and outputs log dose and probit values, with the 8K version providing an additional feature to plot a scaled log dose versus probit scattergram. Included in the documentation are the program's abstract, introduction to the probit convention, program description, operation instructions, and the source code for both the 4K and 8K versions.
