Disklook

DISKLOOK is a small utility program designed for a PDP-8 computer with a 32-K DF32 Disk. It operates via the system's on-line Teletype to provide several management capabilities:

• Examination: Users can view the contents of any disk location (displayed as four octal digits) by providing an address expression.
• Alteration: Allows for direct modification of disk data.
• Examine-Next: A convenient way to step through sequential disk locations.
• Searches: Enables positive and negative masked searches between specified disk address limits.

Additional functionality includes commands to return to the resident monitor, error handling for illegal inputs or disk errors, and instructions for loading and starting the program at location 200.
