PDP-12 PS/8

This document outlines a package of utility programs for the PDP-12 PS/8 operating system, intended as a supplement to the DECUS 12-48 FORTRAN Library tape. The package includes:

• MAGSPY: Displays block contents on various PS/8 devices in different modes.
• INDEX: Manages file indices, deletes files, and transfers file groups.
• COPY: Performs full duplication of PS/8 linctapes, including system blocks.
• MARK12: Adapted to run under PS/8 for marking linctapes.
• DIALPS: Copies and converts files from DIAL linctape 1 to PS/8 device SYS.
• PSDIAL: Copies files from PS/8 device SYS to DIAL linctape 1.

The package also includes the SABR routine IHELP to display operating instructions, with documentation and source files for the utilities provided.
