Mildred: Multiple Index Lookup, Deletion, Replacement and Entry

This document describes the MILDRED (Multiple Index Lookup, Deletion, Replacement and Entry: Disk) software, a set of subroutines designed for the PDP-12 computer. MILDRED allows users to perform index manipulation for LAP6-DIAL (or DIAL-MS). The handbook covers the software environment, usage, and provides a detailed breakdown of its core routines: LOOKUP, ENTER, REPLACE, FCF (the conflict-search routine), and DELETE. Additionally, it contains technical flow charts, memory address information, and a symbol table to support implementation and maintenance.
