LIBMSH

This document is a technical manual for the LIBMSH (MASH Library) software package, designed for use on the PDP-12 computer running the OS/8 Operating System.

The LIBMSH package includes four primary programs: - Transfer Program: Converts AIPOS (MASS/INTENSITY) files into OS/8 compatible floating point files. - Print Program: Prints MASS/INTENSITY data from OS/8 files to a line printer or Teletype. - Allocate Program: Creates and defines files for use as catalogues. - MASH Library Program (LIBMSH): The main management tool for cataloging, searching, moving, listing, deleting, and re-patching MASH file entries.

The manual details the hardware configuration requirements, program load and link instructions, input/output dialogues for each function, and comprehensive internal documentation (including program source listings) intended for software support personnel and advanced programmers.
