Self-Starting Binary Loader

This document is the User's Manual for the Self-Starting Binary Loader (SS BIN), designed for use with PDP-8/E or PDP-8/M computers. The SS BIN is capable of reading 12-bit data words from paper tape via either low-speed or high-speed readers and supports automatic program startup upon completion of loading. The manual covers equipment requirements, memory allocation, operating instructions for different configurations (with or without MI8-E Bootstrap Loader or switch registers), handling of checksum errors, paper tape formats, and procedures for generating tapes to be loaded with SS BIN.
