Toggle in Programs

This document provides a set of machine-code instruction programs designed to be entered manually via the front panel switch register on a PDP-8 computer. It includes:

• Microinstructions: Lists for Group 1 and Group 2.
• Operating Instructions: Programs to clear memory, increment the accumulator, and perform other basic diagnostic functions.
• Specific Routines: Code for JMS (Jump to Subroutine), JMP (Jump), character printing, switch register deposit, core memory transfer, and console print tests.
• Peripherals: Bootstraps and control routines for paper tape, printers, and Dectape devices.
