DECimage Option for VXT 2000

The DECimage Option for VXT 2000 is a hardware accelerator board designed for modular VXT 2000 windowing terminals, enabling them to decompress and display high-resolution bi-tonal images in less than one second. This solution offers a cost-effective alternative to dedicated workstations for document imaging applications. It integrates seamlessly with the X Window System and operates across VMS, ULTRIX, and UNIX environments. The product includes three levels of software support—the Image Utilities Library (IUL), DECimage Application Services (DAS), and DECimage EXpress (DEX)—to aid developers in creating imaging applications, managing indexed document storage, and improving productivity in paper-intensive business processes.
