Digital Enterprise Integration Packages

This document introduces the Digital Enterprise Integration Packages, designed to bridge the gap between Microsoft Windows NT and Digital OpenVMS environments. The solution provides a cost-effective, out-of-the-box integration infrastructure to facilitate client/server computing. It consists of two main offerings: the Digital Enterprise Integration Server for OpenVMS, which enables OpenVMS to participate in a Windows NT environment, and the Digital Enterprise Integration Client for Microsoft Windows, which provides Windows desktops with access to OpenVMS applications and data. The packages include management tools, networking services, file and print services, internet capabilities, and application development support.
