InfoServer 1000

The InfoServer 1000 is a modular, network-attached SCSI storage server designed to share data from CD-ROM, disk, tape, and magneto-optical media across heterogeneous networks. It supports MS-DOS, Macintosh, OpenVMS, ULTRIX, and other client environments simultaneously. The server utilizes the LASTport protocol to make attached SCSI devices appear as local drives to client machines, providing efficient access and performance. It is a scalable solution that can be expanded using the InfoTower cabinet, and it is available in various specialized packages such as the InfoServer Librarian for large databases, InfoServer Scribe for backup, and InfoServer Publisher for CD-ROM mastering.
