DECmcc Management Station

This document introduces the DECmcc Management Station product family, which provides a unified, consolidated approach to network management. It includes both Site Management Station and Enterprise Management Station options. These solutions leverage the DECwindows user interface to allow network managers to monitor configuration, fault, and performance across multivendor environments from a single screen. Key components highlighted include the NMCC/DECnet Monitor, ETHERnim for local area network inventory, LAN Traffic Monitor for performance analysis, Terminal Server Manager, and Remote Bridge Management Software (RBMS). The stations are designed to be compliant with Digital’s Enterprise Management Architecture (EMA), providing an investment-protected transition path for network administrators.
