DECnet-RSX

This document covers the operation of various network management utilities for DECnet-RSX, including:

• CFE (Configuration File Editor): For modifying the permanent configuration database.
• NCP (Network Control Program): For loading, controlling, monitoring, and testing network software and down-line loading RSX-11S systems.
• VNP (Virtual Network Processor): For modifying the RSX-11 system image file.
• Other Tools: Including the Console Carrier Requester (CCR), Event File Interpreter (EVF), Dump Analyzer (KDA), LAT Control Program (LCP), Network Crash Dump Analyzer (NDA), Network Display Program (NTD), Queue Manager (QUE), and Trace Interpreter Task (TRI).

The manual also includes detailed sections on utility error messages, process names, and object type codes, intended for network managers responsible for building and maintaining DECnet networks.
