DECnet-RSX

This manual provides instructions for users on how to utilize the various network utilities available for DECnet-RSX systems. Key areas covered include:

• Network Control Program (NCP): For monitoring node, line, and circuit states, and managing alias node names.
• Network File Operations (DCL and NFT): Procedures for performing file operations such as copying, deleting, renaming, and printing across network nodes, including information on file descriptor syntax and wildcards.
• Network Command Terminal (NCT): How to log on to and access resources on remote host operating systems.
• Remote Terminal (RMT): Accessing resources of remote DECnet-RSX nodes.
• Phone Communications (PHO): Interactive dialogs and conferencing with other network users.
