Digital Technical Journal

This volume of the Digital Technical Journal contains two sets of technical papers. The first section focuses on graphical software development, specifically the DEC FUSE environment for UNIX workstations and the development of a Data Visualizer tool for managing complex code displays. The second section covers systems engineering, including the Multivendor Integration Architecture (MIA) for distributed transaction processing, the Framework-based Environment (FBE) for integrating manufacturing applications, and Project Gabriel, an automated software deployment system designed for a large-scale commercial network.
