Experimental Display System

This document describes the General Purpose Experimental Display System, which is based on a modified PDP-4 computer and a modified Type 340 Incremental Display. The manual details the system's components, including its memory, interface equipment for a CDC 1604A computer, operator's console (with knobs, track ball, and pushbuttons), and programming instructions. Maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and the use of special test cables for 1604A simulation, are also covered, along with engineering drawings and circuit modifications.
