This manual serves as the first part of a two-part reference for OpenVMS operating system users. It provides detailed descriptions, syntax, and examples for Digital Command Language (DCL) commands and lexical functions, covering those beginning with the letters A through M. The document is designed for all OpenVMS users and assumes familiarity with the OpenVMS User's Manual. It excludes language compilers and optional software products, which are documented separately.
