This document describes the DSKRAT program, a system utility used to scan and verify the integrity of Level D disk file structures. The program checks for inconsistencies such as clusters belonging to multiple files, missing clusters in the Storage Allocation Table (SAT), and clusters marked in the SAT but not assigned to any file. The utility runs in two passes: the first pass identifies discrepancies, and the second pass specifically targets files claiming clusters used by more than one file. The guide includes operational instructions, requirements for privileged access ([1,2]), and a detailed technical flow describing the initialization, scanning, and error-reporting processes.
