OpenVMS I64 with Update

This document serves as a 'Read Before Installing' guide for the OpenVMS I64 V8.4 with Update 700 installation DVD (BA322-10035).

Key information includes: - Purpose: Enables OpenVMS installation on disk devices served by SAS SMART Array controllers set up in Host Bus Adapter (HBA) mode (previous versions only supported RAID mode). - Functionality: Automatically installs the VMS84I_UPDATE-V0700 update kit after the base OS installation. - Compatibility: Replaces the previous 'OpenVMS Version 8.4 for Integrity i2 servers' DVD. Supported systems include HP Integrity BL8x0c i2 Server Blades, rx2800 i2 Servers, and other Integrity systems supported by OpenVMS V8.4. - Availability: Provided with new purchases, as part of the June 2012 quarterly update for customers with a Software Updates Service contract, and via ISO image. - Note: This media is not for OpenVMS for Alpha.
