Monitoring Performance History

This document outlines the Monitoring Performance History (MPH) software, a tool distributed with OpenVMS Version 7.0. MPH collects system data such as error logs, crash dump summaries, hardware configuration changes, and performance metrics to help Digital set future product requirements. The software stores data in an MPH$COPY area and provides three transport mechanisms (DSNLink, Internet, or DECnet) to transmit the information to Digital.
