This document is the "PDP-11 System Software Components Catalogue" published by Digital Equipment Corporation in October 1979. It serves as a comprehensive directory for system software products and their constituent parts distributed by the Software Distribution Center.

The catalogue provides:

• Guidelines and Explanations: Detailed instructions on how to use the catalogue, including how to locate items via order numbers or titles, and explanations of software model and component part numbering systems.
• Software Support Categories: A clear definition of support levels (Categories A, B, and C) provided by Digital, ranging from full installation and remedial services to "as is" distribution.
• Product Listings: A structured index of various software kits and their individual components, organized by product type (e.g., PT Support Packages, APL-11, BASIC, COBOL, DECNET, etc.). Each entry includes the product title, order number, product/component (P/C) code, and a list of replaceable parts.
• Indexing: An extensive directory index by software distribution code and title to assist users in identifying and procuring the correct software media and documentation.
