XMI Adapters Handbook Documentation Set

This handbook documentation set covers three main components for VAX systems utilizing the XMI bus architecture:

• XMI Bus Overview: Covers the architecture, physical description, functional characteristics, write-back cache support, and error diagnostics for the XMI bus.
• CIXCD Interface: Details the CIXCD high-performance I/O interface between the XMI bus and the CI bus, including configurations, diagnostics, and register descriptions.
• DEC LANcontroller 400 (DEMNA): Provides information on the DEMNA Ethernet controller, including configuration, diagnostic tools (RBDs, macrodiagnostics), console monitor operations, and adapter registers.
