Memory Channel Release Note

This document informs users of a critical hardware compatibility requirement for MEMORY CHANNEL clusters running OpenVMS. It specifies that only the CCMAA-AA PCI adapter is currently supported. Users are instructed to verify their adapter variant by checking the 54-part barcode label on the board; the CCMAA-AA variants feature a -01 extension, while the CCMAA-BA variants feature a -02 extension. A summary table confirms that the -AA variant is compatible with both OpenVMS and Digital UNIX, whereas the -BA variant is compatible only with Digital UNIX.
