Multi-Purpose Source

The K731 Multi-Purpose Source module is designed to provide operating power and specialized control functions for systems with up to 32 modules. It converts center-tapped 12.6V AC (50 or 60 Hz) input into 1 Amp DC output. It is short-circuit proof and includes three primary control outputs:

• Turn-on Level: Provides a ground signal during power-up transients to initialize flip-flops.
• OK Level: Indicates that the supply voltage has reached 90% of its final value.
• Line Sync: Synchronizes gates or timers with AC supply zero-crossings for real-time clock or phase-locked loop applications.
