Bus Driver

The R650 is a versatile logic element containing two inverting bus drivers capable of driving heavy current loads to ground or negative voltages. Key features include: - Logic Versatility: Input terminals D, E (N, P) act as a NAND gate for negative inputs or a NOR gate for ground inputs, with expandability via node terminal F (R). - Performance: Typical operation up to 2 mc, with rise/fall times around 25 nsec. Grounding pin H (S) enables slower operation (500 kc) to prevent ringing on long lines. - Output Options: Provides both Direct output (20 ma load) and Resistor output for coaxial cable driving (90-ohm, e.g., RG-62-U). - Specifications: Detailed lead length limitations and power requirements (+10v, -15v) are provided for proper circuit implementation.
