Divide Subroutine

This document, M-1097, is an interoffice memorandum from Digital Equipment Corporation's Computer Division, dated January 19, 1961. It provides specifications and assembly language code for a divide subroutine written for the PDP-1 computer by Bolt, Beranek and Newman. The document covers two types of division: a fractional divide using a signed 34-bit dividend and an integer divide using a signed 17-bit dividend.
