Installing an HSZ70 Cache Module

This document outlines the procedures for replacing a cache module in an HSZ70 array controller. It covers two scenarios:

• Dual-Redundant Configurations: Instructions on using the FRUTIL field-replacement utility to safely remove and install a cache module, including disabling failover and quiescing ports.
• Single Configurations: Instructions on using the FMU fault management utility to dismount storage, shut down the controller, and replace the cache module.

Included are specific safety precautions for handling VHDCI cables, such as cleaning connectors and maintaining proper torque when tightening retaining screws.
